Current SubjectsMath - Understanding Fractions is our current focus in mathematics. We are identifying what fractions are, and how they are related to percents, decimals, and other fractions. Time permitting, we will also study addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of fractions.
Reading - We are working on the differences between fact and opinion in reading. Sequencing will be our next unit. Writing - Our informational writing books are taking a little longer than expected. I am seeing such great improvement in our sentence structure, organization, and information, though! When we finally wrap up this project, we will focus on grammar, usage, and spelling for the rest of the year. Science - If we manage to finish economics with enough time, we will spend some time on force and motion before the end of the year. Social Studies - We are currently studying economics and making economic choices. |
